Full Systems Assurance with Technically Assured Organisation (TAO) Accreditation

Safearth have the processes and systems in place to offer full engineering and safety systems assurance, adaptable for projects of any scale. Safearth’s assurance systems have accreditation as a Technically Assured Organisation (TAO) for Transport for New South Wales. The authorisation is for the discipline of Earthing, Bonding, Electrolysis and Lightning protection, across the project lifecycle phases that are relevant to this discipline.

 

As project scale increases, so does the complexity of project governance and assurance required to manage and control the project. The expectations of multiple clients are to be managed, large numbers of stakeholders are to be interfaced and there are increases to the number of engineering requirements from various sources and standards. The documentation and interfacing required to deliver these projects can easily take as much time as the technical design work. Understanding the importance of the systems assurance requirements, helps Safearth to proactively engage in the processes, efficiently providing the quality and governance the project needs.

Safearth has demonstrated experience in detailed safety system and engineering assurance projects. They have worked on some of the largest transport infrastructure projects in Australia. Most recently the Sydney Metro City and Southwest rail project and the Brisbane Cross Rail project. Along with providing a successful technical solution, Safearth also provided confidence to the clients with robust engineering and safety system assurance behaviours, documentation and processes.

Authorisation as a TAO for TfNSW is also being accepted in QLD and VIC as a demonstration of Engineering and Safety Systems assurance.
