Cigre Substations 2019

The conference aims to “provide a forum for discussion of the impacts of new challenges on substation design and asset management and to evaluate research and operational experience related to sustainable, active and digital development of power systems including both transmission and distribution, and in particular, to address needs for substations to enter their next era of development.”

Our managing director Stephen Palmer will be speaking on substation earthing design, and will delivering a tutorial on day 2 to explain the creation and application of CIGRE Technical Brochure TB 749 on substation earthing design optimisation through the application of quantified risk analysis (QRA).
